Finally, IDSL! Last week, the second Verizon tech came out and was able to trim 300 feet off the line, putting me at 17,900 feet. Close enough for IDSL. Today, the Covad tech came out and programmed the router. And now, finally, we have a high-speed Internet connection!

For some reason, I have not been able to upgrade my old Blue&White G3 tower from OS 10.2 to 10.2.2. I select the destination drive (the original, built-in drive) and get an error. I even wioed the drive and tried upgrading a fresh install. I'll give the software updater a shot at it tonight.

James will be pulling into town sometime tonight, and Miriam's Mom & Grnadma will be here Wednesday afternoon. We finally have the house mostly put together. It should be a great Thanksgiving.

By the way, my touch typing hasn't really improved all that well. Bugger all.
