Bah! Verizon can stick it in their collective pipe and smoke it. Turns out they won't support a line for DSL longer than 18,000 feet, and I just happen to live 18,200 feet from the central office. So no Speakeasy IDSL, even though IDSL can technically handle distances up to 50,000 feet. Bastards. I'm going to look into finding an alternative phone company for local service. I don't want to give Verizon $60 a month, as they aren't spending any of it on upgrading the phone service in my neighborhood.

RadioIO rocks. Lots of good music. Morphine. Cowboy Junkies, Ani DiFranco. Tons of other good music. I 'm thinking of recording it so I can listen to it in the car ... instead of the "New Music Mix" crap. I bet I could get the same thing with Sirius or XM (the satellite radio providers), but I'm just not in the car that much.
